ISET hosted H.E. Amit Kumar Mishra, India’s first Resident Ambassador to Georgia. Ambassador Mishra assumed office in March 2026, following the opening of the Embassy of India in Tbilisi, marking a new chapter in India-Georgia relations.
During his visit, Ambassador Mishra met with ISET Director Tamar Sulukhia to discuss opportunities for cooperation and potential areas of future collaboration between ISET and the Embassy of India, including academic and institutional ties.
