Master’s Program in Economics
Each year, ISET enrols local and international students in it’s English language Master’s in Economics Program. It is taught during evening hours, which offers working professionals the opportunity to study while working. The program is taught exclusively in English, by international and Georgian professors, with PhD from top western universities.
The program of study also includes a major research component. In their second year at ISET, students have an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of economics of their choice, i.e., macroeconomics policy, energy economics, etc, through choosing corresponding elective courses.
In addition to regular coursework, students go through summer internships in their field of interest and conduct writing projects on topics of relevance to their field of study.
98% of ISET graduates are currently employed in professional and analytical positions. 15% of ISET graduates have gone on to pursue PhDs at some of the world’s best universities – with full scholarship – including Stanford University, the University of Chicago, New York University, Washington University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Warwick, and the University of Leicester, among others.
Graduates receive a Master of Economics diploma from ISET/TSU. ISET master’s degree program is officially accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), a quality assurance agency for higher education and a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
