Khidi Project
Ever thought about building bridges? That’s exactly what the Khidi Project is all about—connecting ISET students with high schoolers from the Pankisi region.
The Khidi Project, meaning “bridge” in Georgian, was launched in 2019 by MAC Foundation, with ISET becoming its core partner.
Through Khidi, ISET students dedicate one or two hours weekly to tutoring high school students in English or Math, all conducted online. The project empowers rural students who may lack access to additional academic support, helping them strengthen their skills and broaden their opportunities for the future.
Khidi also fosters a sense of community and collaboration. Each year, ISET tutors visit Pankisi for an in-person experience, and Khidi tutees are invited to attend ISET’s graduation ceremony, celebrating the bonds formed through this project.
The Khidi Project embodies ISET’s commitment to social responsibility, bridging gaps in education and connecting students across regions to create a brighter, more inclusive future.
