ISET Hosts Public Lecture with DAAD on Monetary Policy and Geopolitics

On March 4, ISET hosted a public lecture titled ‘Monetary Policy Is Geopolitics – What Is the Difference between the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative and the US Petrodollar System?’ by Prof. Dr. Dr. Stefan Brunnhuber, a renowned economist and sociologist.

ISET students and academic staff attended this lecture, engaging with thought-provoking insights on the geopolitical role of monetary policy.

The event was organized by ISET in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2025. Since 1925, the DAAD has supported around three million students and academics worldwide, promoting international cooperation in science and education.

We greatly value partnerships with institutions like DAAD and look forward to future collaboration opportunities.
