Andrew Hargreaves received his Ph.D. from the Department of War Studies, King’s College London in 2009. He holds an undergraduate degree in War Studies, also from King’s College London, and a master’s degree in Modern History from Oxford University. He is a former West Point Fellow in Military History and a winner of the Society for Military History’s Russell F. Weigley Graduate Award. He is the author of Special Operations in World War II – British and American Irregular Warfare (Oklahoma University Press, 2013) and co-editor of Allied Fighting Effectiveness in North Africa and Italy, 1942-1945 (Brill, 2014).
